WHAT YOU'LL DO

This individual's primary responsibility is ensuring that CBOCS and Maple Street Biscuit Company Restaurants are continuously supplied through the approved food, non-food, produce and dairy distribution networks. Provides leadership, insight and direction to service providers, buyers and suppliers on any deviating inventory requirements. This role will work closely with finance (demand signals based on traffic / sales), procurement (vendor projections / inventory) and culinary (menu strategy development.) Collaboration will help further mitigate financial risks as it relates to inventory overages or shortfalls but ultimately create better efficiencies within the supply chain.

Promotional and Core Menu Inventory Analysis for food and non-food products moving through distribution.

•Develop effective forecast models based on finance traffic projections and promotional inventory demand

•Create and maintain planning models and processes.

•Maximize efficiency by aligning supply with forecasted demand.

•Minimize excess and obsolete inventory while mitigating out-of-stocks and supply chain disruptions.

•Ensure optimal production and inventory levels to meet fluctuations in demand.

•Calculations on inventory forecasts will adversely affect the Commodity Model’s annual spend projections. Must be able to articulate inventory assumptions to Supply Chain Leadership.

•Promotional and Core Menu Projections Modeling

•At any given time, there are always 4 to 5 promotions/tests or supply disruptions. Must be able to manage multiple competing timelines and ensure all suppliers and distributors are aligned with requirements and adjust forecasting accordingly.

•Manage key performance metrics and management process across team: established goals aligned with Supply Chain’s strategic initiative. Ensures goals are on track.

•Must be able to be a thought partner in building the infrastructure around new work-streams and adjust priorities as needed.

•Create and distribute reporting to key stakeholders.

Business Acumen

•Understanding of all distribution contracts and how they apply throughout the company. Provides guidance to store level leadership, when necessary, and Operations.

•Understanding of overall department systems such as Crunchtime and Arrowstream to ensure all new inventory forecasts are accurate. Troubleshoots any discrepancies.

•Must have a good understanding of inventory demand planning.

Customer Service

•Must have a servant leadership style to work with field leadership and cross functionally at the home office.

•Display a collaborative mentality with suppliers and distributors to meet common goal of continuous supply to the stores.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience and Education

•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.

•At least 3-5 years of full-time experience in a Supply Chain function.

Knowledge and Skills

•The ideal candidate for this role is highly analytical, possesses advanced mathematical and forecasting skills, and excels in stakeholder engagement.

•Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•Strong analytical and decision making skills.

•Proficient computer skills specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

•Distribution Knowledge

•General knowledge of restaurant operations (food, services, & equipment purchasing)

•Ability to prioritize multiple and competing tasks
