WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead the Culinary team to evolve and improve core menu and kitchen execution while delivering brand financial and operational objectives. Oversee processes at a strategic level to ensure successful rollout and implementation of new food development for core menu and campaign windows, both short and long term to ensure the company meets or exceeds its profit, financial and market share growth objectives.

Lead best in class recipe and food training materials. Lead the menu rollout process across all restaurants Train field partners on new food items for testing and validation Ensure new products are optimized for field execution prior to testing. Partner with operations team to set strategy and create action plan to decrease kitchen complexity and reduce sku and prep redundancies. Develop strategies and tactics that optimize product execution. Partner with leaders in the Culinary team to optimize new menu items for easier execution. Collaborate with field restaurant teams to identify and share best practices. Evaluates kitchen and equipment trends in the industry to identify opportunities for efficiency and throughput. Support and manage Culinary agenda setting, prioritization and resource allocation, balancing short and long term needs/priorities. Manage, coach and develop all employees under the Culinary umbrella including Culinary Operations, Culinary Innovation, and Menu Strategy

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience and Education

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in menu strategy and innovation leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a strategic menu development capacity within the casual dining or related industry.

  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale menu transformations and innovations.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring a team and partnering with other executives.

  • Deep knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including market trends, culinary techniques, and health regulations.

  • Proficient in data analysis and customer insights to drive decision-making.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.
